Steel liners are essential components in industrial concrete and steel chimneys, designed to protect the structure from the damaging effects of high temperatures and corrosive gasses. These liners are installed inside the chimney to prevent heat and chemical damage to the concrete, ensuring a longer lifespan and safer operation. At Avantea, we provide steel liners tailored to your specific project needs, based on customer drawings or our own design.

When do you need a steel liner?
A steel liner is relevant both in new chimneys and when renovating existing installations. In new builds, the liner ensures from the start that flue gases are carried away safely without degrading the chimney's structure. In existing concrete or steel chimneys, a steel liner is used to extend service life when the original inner wall has been attacked by heat or corrosive gases — instead of replacing the entire chimney. Avantea assesses each installation and delivers a liner suited to that specific chimney.
