Why do you need inspections?
Regular inspections are crucial for maintaining the safety of the structure and ensuring that your chimney operates correctly. By identifying potential issues early, inspections help prevent costly repairs and reduce the risk of operational downtime.
How are inspections carried out?
Our team uses various methods depending on the scope of the inspection. Inspections can be performed by climbing ladders, using rope access, cranes, or cherry pickers, and sometimes from ground level. The method depends on the parts being inspected and the level of detail required.
What do inspections involve?
Inspections include checking and controlling all structural components and the parts in contact with flue gasses, as well as any additional equipment. These inspections are conducted in line with the EN norms to ensure that every aspect of your chimney is functioning safely and efficiently.
Do customers receive a report?
Yes, after each inspection, we provide a detailed report that includes findings and photos. If repairs are required, we typically include a quote for the necessary work, ensuring that you have all the information needed to take action.

Mandatory inspections for chimneys
According to EN standards, it is required to have:
- A quick inspection every 6 months to ensure basic operational safety.
- A more comprehensive inspection every 2 years, including a full structural assessment as required by EN 13084-1 & EN 13084-9 for industrial chimneys.
